1 Cleaner Layout

Our design and development team constantly moves through BombBomb to improve your experience. Here, we sought a cleaner look with better access to your email analytics.

You’ll immediately notice that it’s tidier in appearance, yet information dense.

All the basics are right there … Total sent. Total opens and open rate. Total clicks and click rate. Total plays and play rate. Performance against averages. And more.

Access to powerful tools we’ve long provided – like segmentation, click mapping, and tracking export – are available behind the gear.

Segmentation allows you to make new lists of people based on their action or inaction (all the people who opened the email or all the people who didn’t open it, clicked or didn’t click, played or didn’t play).

Your click map shows you where, exactly, all the clicks were made (for example: 14 on that link, 27 on the button, 3 to my Facebook page).

And, of course, you can export the complete tracking details as a CSV file to search and sort.

2 Better Access to Individuals

Yes, you can use BombBomb as a campaign tool. Yes, we provide all this tracking on mass email sending.

But at its core, BombBomb is about one-to-one follow up – especially with the personal, human, connecting, and differentiating touch of video.

 

In each area of email tracking (overall, opens, plays, clicks), we’re pulling forward for you the top 25 most engaged individuals. Any ties are sorted by recency – the most recently engaged people are on the top.

Behind the 3 dots on the right is the red record button. If you’re on your laptop or desktop, you can Quick Send from your webcam. From mobile, we’ll take over your smartphone camera.

Reach out for feedback or to make yourself available for follow up questions based on your original send.

Again, your goal isn’t to send email. It’s to produce results. This quick, personal follow up makes all the difference! And, of course, we’ll track those sends for you, too.

3 Email Engagement Over Time

Across the top of the main email tracking screen, you have an airplane (overview), an envelope (email open details), play button (video play details), and click arrow (link click details).

When you click one of those icons for specific email open, video play, or link click data, the engaged people re-sort based on that activity.

Plus, we’re displaying the accumulation of opens, plays, or clicks over time. You can now see the arc of engagement with your send.

This will be especially helpful if you’re the kind of email marketer who likes to segment new lists based on engagement and non-engagement (see upgrade 1), then follow up differently with these two types of email recipients.

Should you segment after 36 hours? 48? 72? This arc will tell you when your opens, clicks, and plays peak from send to send.

It can produce the same effect for your one-to-one video follow-ups with people, too. When should you start that? As or just after your engagement peaks, giving people enough time to engage but still reaching out when you’re top of mind.

NOTE: the main BombBomb platform to which you log in at BombBomb.com is all mobile responsive. Anything you’re doing from your laptop or desktop can be done on mobile from any browser on any internet-connected mobile device.

And, of course, we have mobile apps for iPhone and iPad, as well as for Android.
