Send Your Story: How BombBomb Supports Your Sales Process

Talk Sales Process with Video

 

In this post: a little learning and a nice opportunity.

 

Whether or not you consider yourself a “salesperson,” you’ve got a sales process.

You’re working to engage, influence, and move people from one place to another – in one form or another.

For reference, consider Daniel Pink‘s To Sell Is Human (read it in 5 minutes, see a 20 minute video).

 

As formal or informal as your sales process might be, you’re reaching out to people to connect and communicate.

  • To build trust, rapport, and relationship.
  • To provide opportunities and to follow up on those offers.
  • To give assistance or make requests.
  • To move people to thought or action.

 

If you’re using BombBomb, you’re likely using it in your sales process. And we want to hear your story.

 

The Goal: to provide value for the entire BombBomb community through your story and those of others who send them in … and to have some fun doing it!

Tell Us How BombBomb Supports Your Sales Process

 

Basics

  • Record and send a video email to Story@BombBomb.com
  • Send it by Wednesday, August 17, 2016.
  • Tell us who you are, where you’re from, what you do, and how BombBomb helps you win more opportunities.
  • You might include a specific story, the single most effective thing you do with BombBomb, or the various ways you use it. Some why is always good, too.
  • See more than 100 examples here.

 

Judging Criteria

  • We’re looking for videos that tell compelling success stories, ideally with specific outcomes.
  • We’re looking for videos that will help and inform other people in the BombBomb community.
  • We’re not looking for high production value – it definitely won’t hurt you, but it’s not a primary criterion.
  • We’re not judging on length, but it should be a relatively concise story (under 3 minutes or so).
  • The stories/videos with the most points win

 

Award Process

  • A subcommittee of BombBomb team members will narrow all entries down to the top 10.
  • The top 10 will be watched by all BombBomb team members.
  • Each team member ranks his or her top 3 stories/videos.
  • 5 points are awarded for first, 3 for second, and 1 for third.
  • The stories/videos with the most points win.

 

Prizes

  • The person with the top scoring story/video wins an iPad Pro (12.9″, 32GB) and a BombBomb t-shirt.
  • Each of the top 5 runners up wins a $100 Amazon gift card and a BombBomb t-shirt.
  • NOTE: we don’t make many t-shirts; they’re relatively rare!
